Dubai Chocolate Bar Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Chocolate Base:
- 200g of a good quality dark chocolate having a cocoa solid of 70% can be chopped.
- In the alternative, one-half cup (120ml) of sweetened condensed milk can also be used.
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

For the Garnish:
- Extra pistachios, chopped
- A few edible gold flakes (use this only if you want a little bit of that flashy Dubai eating experience)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ingredients: To prepare the chocolate advertisements start by cutting the dark chocolate into small pieces. This will assist help in melting it in a uniform manner. - Fold in the Middle Eastern Ingredients: Finally add the chopped pistachios, the chopped dried dates and the chopped dried apricots folding them very gently. It will be a rather thick paste, but do not worry about that. Nuts and fruits incorporated into the cuisines are especially a refreshing and tasty addition.
- Pour and Set: Preheat the oven to 350 F (175 C) For this you will need a baking dish about 8 x 8 inches; And put a parchment paper at the bottom of the dish. Spoon the chocolate mixture over the base in the dish evenly spreading it with a spatula. Top the mixture with more chopped pistachios and then, complete with a sprinkle of sea salt. If you feel like the extra pinch of glamour, you put a few special gold pieces at the end of each dish to emphasize a Dubai meal.
- Chill and Enjoy: Let the chocolate bar to cool down and set in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Once set, carefully remove the parchment paper out of the dish and using a knife, cut the chocolate into bites or as desired, squares or bars.
- Serve: Accompany these chocolate bars with Arabic coffee or tea to make your dessert more authentic Dubai-style. They are wonderful for desert or as a gift for your beloved ones!
